Felt Flower Tutorial

I promised I would show you how to make the felt flowers I made on my card here.   I apologize in advance for the poor photos….it was a really dreary day when I did this and I caught Cassidy’s cold, so I am not up to my spiffy self!  But I am sure you can catch the drift of it, since it is so easy.  I know there are dies available on the market to make these, but they’re so easy to do, it makes sense just to make your own….plus, you can make them any size this way!

For the materials, you’ll need felt, Sticky Strip or Sticky Tape, and good sharp scissors.

I use a hot glue gun to adhere my flowers to my project; it holds quite well!  I would love to make some little ones to put on a barrette for Cassidy!  I made a tag from this one with SU’s Two Tags die:

Speaking of Cassidy, this is what a freshly-made chocolate chip cookie from Aunt Louise (who lives right behind us) looks like after Cassidy is done with it:

Yummm!

THANK YOU for this. You made me feel like I could do it and I do NOT typically attempt dimensional embellishments. So sorry for your cold...there are some bad ones out there...I am impressed that you could think clearly enough to do this tutorial!

Hi - sorry I couldn't stop by yesterday as I had quite an episode with a nose bleed and emergency visit Tues night. I'm sorry to hear that you caught Cassidy's cold. I hope you are starting to feel better. Thank you for the great tutorial - these felt flowers are so pretty and I agree with you - about not needing a die to do them. The tag you made is very pretty. Chocolate chip cookies....yummy - at least we can tell that Cassidy loved it:)
